Candlebark Ridge Welsh Black Cattle Stud is situated in the Rose River valley at the foothills of the Alpine National Park in Northeast Victoria. It is marginal country, and we are pleased with the ability of the Welsh Black cattle to be able to do well in the extreme conditions here, which include long hot summer days above 40° c and cold frosty winters down to minus 7° c.

 We pay particular attention to soundness and temperament.

 KYMRIC will happily lead and tie up and is easy to handle. These traits are testament to his excellent, docile nature.
